Design Criteria
Privacy protection is an important module of ICare, all users‘ personal information is replaced by a five-digit code, and users’ social activities inside the circle can be done anonymously.
The social module aims to provide users with a warm, non-discriminatory communication space. Through an intelligent matching system, users can meet friends with similar experiences and like-minded people for emotional support.
The healing module is the core of the app, we accompany the user through the difficult 15 minutes of waiting for the result through AI chat, interactive mini games and so on.
We know that simple and intuitive interface design is crucial to improve user experience. Therefore, the APP adopts a user-friendly design and visualises all self-test operations.
Optimizing Process
Prior to a traditional HIV test, patients are often required to read lengthy instructions, yet users are often unable to concentrate on reading lengthy textual information when they are under stress.
Therefore, we have animated the traditional text to greatly simplify the reading process.

Core Functions
(Animation Module)
(Healing Module)
(Social Module)
(Personal Module)
By scanning the QR code on the test reagent, users can first see an animated tutorial on HIV self-testing. We use animation to let users learn the steps of HIV self-testing more intuitively.
Users can ease their inner anxiety and fear by way of AI accompanied chat, meditative music and interactive mini-games during the 15 minutes they wait for the self-test results.
According to research, we found that people with illnesses feel that chatting with others who are also suffering from the disease can more effectively alleviate their inner anxiety.
In order to better protect the privacy of HIV patients, all user names and personal information within the APP are replaced with five-digit code numbers.
